Using a Moog synthesizer (a massive, complex machine at the time), Carlos reimagined classical compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach. What made this so groundbreaking wasn’t just the sound — it was the idea that a machine could be used as a true musical instrument.
The album became a commercial success, winning multiple Grammy Awards and introducing electronic music to a mainstream audience for the very first time.
