Sam Wagner is a professional cellist and musician based in the Northeast Ohio area. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Baldwin Wallace University, and is completing a Master’s degree in Performance at the University of Akron, with graduation anticipated in May 2026.
Sam’s academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting instruction and student development in higher education settings.
Sam’s performance experience spans solo and ensemble settings, with a focus on musical interpretation and a broad range of repertoire. She is a member of the Video Game Symphony and the Cinematic Symphony Orchestra, and frequently appears as a substitute with the Ashland Symphony Orchestra and the Snowbelt Symphony Orchestra. She demonstrates versatility and adaptability across diverse performance settings, maintaining a consistently high standard of artistry.
Sam is a dedicated string instructor focused on developing healthy musical habits, musical expression, and confidence in students of all levels. Her goal is to create structured, engaging learning environments that support long-term growth and a lasting appreciation for music.
