In 2023, she completed her Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the University of Akron, where she studied under Dr. Mayumi Kikuchi and Professor Philip Thomson.
As a seasoned performer, Parisa has experience both as a soloist and as a collaborative pianist, having performed in several countries. Since moving to the United States in 2006, she has taught piano in New York, Indiana, and Northeast Ohio, where she has been active since 2015.
Parisa is especially skilled in working with young students, drawing on the Russian Piano Teaching Philosophy to emphasize proper technique and posture—essential elements for long-term success—while making sure lessons remain fun and rewarding. Her international background makes her culturally sensitive and effective in working with students from a wide range of cultural and personal backgrounds.
Parisa currently lives in the Wadsworth/Copley area with her husband and their long-haired cat, Babzi.
